Journal Entry:
My God is great! He will take care of me, no matter what, He is faithful.
I still need a job.
I will not be impatient.
I will not be angry with God.
He has a plan for me and I will fight the world and the desires to please myself.
Tonight is a get-together for college kids and I'm so excited(:
Reading Daniel:
S. So the king gave an order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. The king said to Daniel, "May your God whom you serve continually, rescue you!" No wound was found on him because he trusted in his God.
Daniel 6:16&23
O. Daniel didn't try protecting himself, he prayed to God the same way and let God protect him instead of beginning to pray in secret. And God pulled through and protected him because he trusted his God(23).
A. I am going to be fine if I trust in God.
P. Lord, you've made it clear to me today in my devotions that I just need to trust You. Getting rid of my own desires and to undo anything I might be trying to get myself. You know all- I don't need to- You know as well as I do that's dangerous; I will SCREW IT UP! Thank you, Jesus for revealing this to me- I pray you'd give me wisdom and strength to turn it into action. I love you, Jesus.
Please help me get a job.AMEN
Literally, 5 seconds after closing my journal and my Bible, ready to get up and get ready for my day I get a call from TJMaxx asking if I still was interested in an interview.
I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW ON FRIDAY AT 2:00
