Your love has become the very thing that gets me through my day. Everything You've done for me and through me over the past 6 months is unspeakable; I am so thankful for the tests and blessings! You have provided for me since day one, even if it wasn't the way I expected. Your timing has served to be more than trustworthy and more solid than anything, You have helped me discover myself. Not in this world, but in You.
You've helped me stand trials, ignore drama, and swallow my pride.
I prayed for a job for 6 months and You didn't let me have one until You knew I could handle it.
I prayed that my glasses would turn up and You helped me put all my trust in You.
I prayed for friends and You provided me with a small group.
I prayed for peace and You helped me ignore drama.
I prayed to be more like you and You helped me forgive.
I hope one day, Lord, that everyone will get to know you the way I do.
Even though I ask for things, You don't always provide them in my timing or the way I specifically ask. Sometimes, You don't answer my prayers and You have something way better. Sometimes I think I am right in my prayers, but Your very answer to them is setting me right.
